Mountain trekking on the Island of Gods

Bali

MapThe majestic Mount Agung is located at Bali, Indonesia. It is a stratovolcano and the highest point on the Island. From a distance, the mountain appears to be perfectly conical. It dominates the surrounding area, influencing the climate, especially rainfall patterns.
Mount Batur is an active volcano located at the center of two concentric calderas northwest of Mt. Agung . The south east side of the larger 10x13 km caldera contains a caldera lake. The inner 7.5-kilometer-wide caldera was formed around 25,000 years ago.
