MapBorneo Eco Tour Deluxe Houseboats are different than standard houseboats. Our deluxe houseboat set up with an open deck during daytime is a place for our clients to see monkey and animals and watch birds from the upper deck of the boat. At night it will be set up as a private room with spring bed and mosquito net and both side and front of the deck will be closed. In our cabin rooms we provide an air condition. Air condition is an optional use, you could use a fan or open the big windows and close it with the mosquito screen to avoid insects come into the cabin. Electricity power is limited provided by a small generator. All participants will stay in small hotels, guesthouses, lodges, local houses and on the houseboat. This trip will usually be operated by local people. This way, your money will directly reach the local people of the place you are visiting and not large corporations. So your money will support us to gain alternative income for the local people and help to protect their tradition. During your trip to the Dayak village, you will stay in the so-called Long House or local house, accommodations that are really traditional as this is part of your adventure. You will learn and feel their daily life. Experience their dances, cultures and traditions.
